Overview
A full-stack task manager (built during a hackathon, placed 3rd) where you create tasks manually, through a Gemini-powered chatbot, or with natural language.
Frontend — Next.js 16 with App Router, Better Auth for email/password sign-in, Tailwind CSS 4, Framer Motion animations and dark theme with amber accents.
Backend — FastAPI with JWT middleware, task CRUD and chat endpoints, PostgreSQL on Neon with Alembic migrations.
AI — A Gemini chatbot that turns a plain-English message ('meeting tomorrow 2pm, high priority') into a structured task with date, priority and category inferred.
Extra smarts — MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools let the AI read and operate on tasks directly, not just chat about them.
